Motivation
You know how it seems more comfortable to offer advice or words of wisdom to a friend or a stranger, but it’s one of the most difficult things to accept your own advice when talking to yourself? Well, if you talk to yourself in third person, things take a left turn. I just thanked myself for talking to myself about hyping myself up. Do I need help? No. I just did it myself. Sha-BAYM!
I just met/listened to/spent time with Matteo Bologna of Mucca Design, the guy who led the team that recreated the Victoria’s Secret logo. Dang.
Anastasia is my girl.
I love re-interpretations of classic things.

- Me: "How much do you think a punching bag costs? Like fifty?"
- Mom: "Who you gonna punch?"
My first March For Life was awesome. It wasn’t just the march alone either, but the entire weekend itself. And to think I was planning on skipping Saturday. Spending three entire days with good friends and some of the most inspiring people ever, wasting away time playing Just Dance 3 and watching the games, stuffing our faces endlessly in no same restaurant, going to Mass and having spontaneous worship—things like these made this weekend way more significant for me than I’d expected.
As for the march in DC itself, rather than picking out all the different moments that happened, I’ll just summarize it all by saying how incredible it was to witness so many people take a stand and walk as far as they did in the freezing rain. Now, there are dozens of videos on YouTube that detail the march, but I chose this one particularly because I thought it was cool how you can see me at the 1:00 mark with my mega awkward sign and smile. Lulz.

Sure, you could say I was pretty bored.
